For decades, Brent was at the helm of Redl Sports, a family-owned wholesale distributor that has been a cornerstone of the Canadian industry since 1954. Specializing in fishing, hunting, camping, marine and shooting sports, Redl Sports flourished under Brent’s leadership. He guided the company through times of growth and change, always staying true to its core values of service, reliability, and it’s strong partnerships with retailers and dealers in our country.

When Redl Sports was acquired by Maurice Sporting Goods in 2011, Brent’s steady hand ensured a smooth transition. He maintained the company’s proud Canadian identity and continued to support retailers across Western Canada with the same care and commitment they had come to count on. Known for his approachable nature and deep industry knowledge, Brent has built lasting relationships that go well beyond business, fostering a strong sense of community throughout the outdoor sector.

Today, Brent continues to pour his energy and expertise into the industry as President of Salty Outdoors. His lifelong dedication to supporting retailers, building partnerships, and championing outdoor recreation has left a lasting mark on the industry.
